There are lots of other restaurants in St Emilion for you to discover so just enjoy walking around before you choose.
With children.........
The King's tower in St Emilion will keep them busy for a while, ask the tourists office for a children's information pack, this will keep them interested. The best place to eat with kids is the Pizza place by the old wash house, get there early.
If you want to have a chilled moment the Le Cordelière is a lovely place to sit and sip fizz, which they make on site( the tour is worth it) and the kids can sit on the grass and play.
A family day out..........
The Lac de Garson, 24610 Villefranche-longchat. tel 0553825315
This is a large swimmable lake about 30 mins drive with a beach, cafe, loo's, picnic area and canoes and lifeguards. It's worth a day out if you have little ones.
Libourne...
Le lac du Daugue, and its Splash park and restaurant La Grand Cafe, great place for the kids to really let of steam or take a 5k walk around the lake which should take just over an hour!
Vertigo is new in Libourne with a choice of Bowling, Lazer Park and/or Trampoline park ( over 5's only*) and situated just by the train station, it's easy to get to by car or by train. There's also a beer bar and Restaurant H4
* For the under 5-year-olds there is a Yupee park ( soft play area) just next door
If you are here in August Libourne hosts one of the biggest Street art entertainment festivals FEST'ART for 3 days, normally the first weekend but check with the tourist office or look out for the posters. It's great fun if not a little mad!
